Our Mission Our company is committed to collaborating with playwrights who are seeking new vision and life for emerging and rediscovered plays. With an innovative approach to engaging audiences through artistic discoveries that evolve out of collaborative workshops and rehearsals, we will provide theatrical experiences that are accessible to everyone. History We unveiled our first production, Sports Centered, during the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in the summer of 2007. Written and directed by Co-Artistic Director Brian Grace-Duff, Sports Centered launched Tactile Theatre into the spotlight with glowing reviews from both The Philadelphia Inquirer and City Paper. Daniel Student, Co-Artistic Director and Sports Centered actor, joined Brian in building Tactile Theatre. The duo recruited several Philly artists to help them expand the Tactile Community throughout the city and beyond. |
